If you’ve been on TikTok at all in the past few weeks, chances are you’ve heard it a bouncy, infectious beat with a classroom-themed hook that goes: Professora, que conta é essa? Vinte mais vinte, mais vinte, mais sete… Aí é muito fácil, professora, é six seven!
The song is called Six Seven by Angolan artist Laurinha Costa, featuring DJ Cabello, DJ Tchouzen, and SoundMusic Original, and it has become one of the biggest viral music trends of 2026.
What Is the Song About?
The concept is surprisingly simple and that’s exactly what makes it so catchy. The song plays out like a fun classroom scene. A teacher (the professora) asks her students a math question: What’s 20 + 20 + 20 + 7? The student confidently answers: That’s easy, teacher it’s six seven (67)!
That playful call-and-response format, combined with the Afro-house beat underneath, has made it the perfect soundtrack for TikTok dance trends, comedy skits, classroom reenactments, and all sorts of creative videos.
How Did It Go Viral?
Six Seven was released on April 2, 2026, and it didn’t take long to explode. The track taps into two massive internet forces at once the already popular “67” meme culture that has been dominating social media since 2025, and the global appetite for Brazilian and Angolan funk and Afro-house music on TikTok.
Dance tutorials started appearing almost immediately. Creators began posting choreography videos using the song, and the trend spread across countries and languages. Translation videos racked up tens of thousands of likes as non-Portuguese speakers wanted to understand what the catchy hook was saying. One lyrics and translation video by the TikTok account ScribVibes alone pulled in over 81,000 likes.
The trend has gone far beyond the Lusophone (Portuguese-speaking) world. Creators from the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and the Americas have all jumped on the trend, making it a truly global moment.
